Is Tom Sandoval sending mixed signals about where he stands with Raquel Leviss after their sordid affair?
Just as the Vanderpump Rules star confirmed he is one month sober and suggested Raquel is “not the girl for [him],” he wore an outfit many believed gave the nod to their romance, and she was seen purchasing a pricy lightning bolt necklace on the show.
“Oh, can I see that little lightning bolt? This is $780?” Raquel asked in a jewelry store in a sneak peek at the May 10 episode.
“It’s gold. It’s diamonds. Just spend it. It’s your birthday. Don’t you have birthday money?” Charli Burnett replied. “Just do it. You’re never gonna regret buying good jewelry … Just do it. It’s an investment.”
While the lightning bolt is also part of the logo of TomTom, the West Hollywood restaurant and Bar that Sandoval co-owns with Tom Schwartz, Lisa Vanderpump, and Ken Todd, many believe it symbolizes Sandoval and Raquel’s secret romance, which went on for months behind the back of Sandoval’s then-girlfriend Ariana Madix, amid season 10.
As the Pump Rules preview featured Raquel investing in the necklace, which was similar to one worn by Sandoval during their affair, Page Six revealed that Sandoval wore an outfit to his Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras show that appeared to signal his relationship with Raquel. As they noted, Sandoval took to the stage in a black blazer with glowing lightning bolts attached to its lapels.
At the same show, as seen in a video shared by TMZ on May 6, Sandoval announced he’s been sober for one month.
“It’s been one month since I had my last drink of alcohol. I’ve been taking a little break for a second. But yeah. These are Heineken Zeros. Cheers!” he declared at The Space at Westbury on Long Island, New York.
Also, in the video, as he and his band covered Fountains of Wayne’s hit “Stacy’s Mom,” Sandoval changed the classic hit’s lyrics from “You’re just not the girl for me. I know it might be wrong, but I’m in love with Stacy’s mom” to “Raquel is not for me. I know it might be wrong, but I’m in love with Schwartz’s mom.”
