Did Carl Radke Just Hint at Reason For Split With Lindsay?

Carl Radke “liked” an Instagram meme about “toxic people” playing “victim” and “manipulation” amid his recent split from Lindsay Hubbard.

Following Thursday’s news that the Summer House couple had called off their engagement just months before they were set to walk down the aisle, Carl, 38, has potentially shed some light on the reason behind his breakup from Lindsay, 37, as he returned to production with a “somber” public outing.

“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding,” multiple sources shared with Entertainment Tonight on August 31.

In his first post-split sighting, an unshaven Carl was seen exiting the New York City apartment he shares with Lindsay with a brown bag and rolling suitcase.

In photos, Carl wore a black T-shirt and matching hat as he got into a vehicle as a camera person followed, likely filming his departure from the home for the upcoming eighth season of Summer House.

“Things are tense right now,” a source told Page Six on August 31 of the dynamic between Carl and Lindsay, which a second production source confirmed will “100 percent” be seen on the show.

As Summer House fans have likely seen, Lindsay had gone wedding dress shopping and celebrated her bridal shower with co-stars Amanda Batula, 32, Ciara Miller, 27, Gabby Prescod, 32, Samantha Feher, 26, and Danielle Olivera, 34, just weeks ago.

She also had a bachelorette party planned for later this month in the Bahamas.

“We are literally three months away at this point, and it’s going to go by so fast. And then next thing you know, I’m going to be walking down the aisle,” she previously told Page Six, later confirming their nuptials would be featured on Summer House.

As for what will be seen on the show, cameras reportedly resumed filming upon the news of Carl and Lindsay’s engagement earlier this week.

“Filming has not wrapped but filming at the house in [the] Hamptons has wrapped and [the] plan was to do pickups in the city this weekend,” Bravo and Cocktails explained in an August 31 post on Instagram. “[Conversation between] them calling it off happened Tuesday … After that cameras went up to get it captured.”

Amid the drama, Carl surfaced on Instagram, where he liked a possibly shady post.

“Manipulation is when they always play the victim by blaming you for reacting to their toxic behavior, but never discuss their disrespect that triggered you,” his “liked” meme read, as seen in a screenshot also shared by Bravo and Cocktails.

And, in a caption, a second message said, “Spotlighting toxic people is very easy: there’s constant drama in their lives, and they’re always the victim.”

Summer House season eight began filming in early July and is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or in early 2024.
