I’ve never really used tap to pay, though I have a few cards that support it.
This video got me especially curious since this is lightning network, though… What’s to stop a thief from going around and tapping a device to people’s back pockets without their knowledge, which presents a lightning invoice that just get automatically paid?
Now you’ve sent an irreversible payment to a stranger and by the time you find out, it could be hours later and he’s long gone.
Am I missing something? This always bothered me about tap to pay, but now seems even worse over an irreversible crypto network. Where is the security? Is there any?
