A former employee of disgraced former mayor and high-profile attorney Rudy Giuliani has hit him with stunning allegations in a new lawsuit.
Noelle Dunphy says that Giuliani hired her to be his Director of Business Development “at the height of his influence” — when he was the personal attorney to the then-President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Then, he withheld her pay — and demanded sexual favors from her — telling her he couldn’t get any work done until she “took care of” his sexual needs — desires boosted by his constant popping of Viagra, she alleges in her filing.
Dunphy says that Giuliani used his own divorce proceedings as an excuse to defer her payment, which he promised in the amount of a million dollars per year plus expenses, but ultimately never got around to paying her.
Instead, the filing alleges, he “callously tossed her aside…traumatized by the abuse she had suffered.”
Giuliani has spent recent weeks defending Donald Trump in the public sphere against accusations of sexual assault (though not in court, where Trump produced no witnesses willing to defend him under oath, including himself.)
Now, he’s facing similar allegations himself, and Dunphy says she’s not the only victim. From her filing:
“Giuliani repeatedly agreed to give significant job titles and large salaries to women he found attractive, with the intention of having a sexual relationship with them. Upon information and belief, Giuliani achieved this goal in several instances, and engaged in sexual relationships with women he had hired and whose employment he controlled completely.”
She says that when they began working together, Giuliani pressured her to drink, had his bodyguard travel in a separate vehicle to have ‘privacy’ with her in the backseat, and directed her to send him “flirtatious” photos.
Then he escalated to asking personal sexual questions under the guise of seeking background information for her divorce case, and at one point had her stay in his guest suite ahead of a business trip. She describes her experience upon exiting the shower and finding him in her room:
“Ms. Dunphy was frightened. She said she wanted to get dressed, unpack, and settle in. She asked for privacy. She said she would meet him in the living room when she was ready. But Giuliani would not leave. He sat on the bed and pulled down his pants.”
Dunphy’s filing cites a similar scene in the Borat movie, a scene that Guiliani has emphatically denied shows him on hidden camera reaching down his pants in hopes of a sexual encounter with a woman he thought was a young interviewer, saying that a still from the film represents her experience well.
A screenshot shows the image in her lawsuit. (Story continues below.)
She says that Giuliani grabbed her head and physically forced contact with his genitals, and she felt unable to avoid complying with his demand for oral sex.
Dunphy also offers some supporting evidence within the filing, including an email from Giuliani regarding her own legal issues stemming from a divorce, a photo of herself with Giuliani and Lev Parnas, and screenshots of his thirsty messages.
You can see one of those screenshots below, in which Dunphy dodges a tone-deaf request to join her in the shower. (Story continues below.)

In other screenshots, Dunphy demonstrates that she asked repeatedly about being paid, and about having a reference written based on her work, and was put off over and over.
As for the sexual abuse, she says that her being forced to provide Giuliani with oral sex continued and that she was otherwise forced into sexual intercourse and thoroughly sexually abused.
She’s asking for compensatory and punitive damages for all the trauma and abuse — as well as her denied wages.
Here’s actress Maria Bakolava describing her experience in the movie Dunphy cites.
Unlike Dunphy, who was taken by surprise, Bakolava was prepared for the scene in advance and knew Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) was prepared to jump out and intervene if anything started to go awry.
Despite that, even she admits there were some safety concerns (and not only coronavirus).
